A score card for Android software: one number per app, built the same way every time, so it means the same thing everywhere it appears.
A star rating on a store page mixes in marketing and old reviews nobody rechecks. Rated APKs builds its score from a fixed set of measured factors, so two apps with the same number really are comparable.
A high score means the app measured well on what we check: install behaviour, permissions requested, advertising load. It is not a promise that the app is safe or free of bugs, and it is not a guarantee of anything beyond what was measured.
These pages are laid out ahead of time as static files, so the number and the page load together, on any connection.
